OneByZero appoints Sanjay Thomas as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer to scale AI Co-workers in the Enterprise

OneByZero (OBZ), a leading data and AI frontier firm headquartered in Singapore, today announced the appointment of Sanjay Thomas as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer (CSTO). The appointment reinforces OBZ's focus on execution-led AI transformation, as enterprises enter the Year of the AI Co-workers, where AI systems move from experimentation into running material parts of the business.

As CSTO, Sanjay will lead OBZ's Transformation Blueprint, aligning strategy, delivery, and operating discipline to ensure AI systems are production-ready, governed, and accountable. His mandate spans account strategy, transformation ownership, and execution alignment, ensuring AI initiatives deliver sustained business outcomes beyond initial deployment.

Sanjay brings 25+ years of experience leading large-scale digital and technology transformations across telecom, banking, and retail. Most recently, he served as CIO of AIS (Thailand), driving enterprise-wide modernization at scale. Prior to that, as a Partner at IBM Consulting, he led critical programs including Thailand's first corporate eKYC implementation and large-scale digital banking transformations for leading financial institutions.
